Genequip is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Milo U18 Secondary School Football Tournament, further solidifying our commitment to youth development and sports in Guyana. The partnership was formalized at a ceremony held at Genequip’s headquarters in Georgetown, where representatives from the Petra Organisation and Genequip gathered to celebrate this new collaboration.
Under Genequip’s sponsorship, the tournament will provide newly designed Petra kits to eight teams across the country, enhancing their experience as they prepare for the 9th annual competition. Co-Director of the Petra Organisation, Troy Mendonca, expressed his gratitude, sharing how this partnership helps fulfill a long-standing dream of expanding the sport’s reach to nearly every region of Guyana.
This year’s Milo U18 Secondary School Football Tournament will feature 48 teams from regions across Guyana, showcasing the country’s diverse talent and passion for football. Genequip is honored to support this growing championship and remains dedicated to fostering opportunities that empower young athletes and build stronger communities.
