On Friday, June 11th, 2021, during a simple handing over at the Office of General Equipment Guyana Limited, S15 Plantation Houston, Georgetown, Ms. Monique Tiwari, Marketing Coordinator of Genequip presented a cheque of $500,000 to Captain Andrews of the Civil Defense Commission to support the flood relief efforts, countrywide.

The company’s representative, in a brief release, shared that “Genequip is moved by the devastating effects of the flooding caused across Guyana. We are happy as always to contribute and help make a difference by lending support to the communities in need.”

The company’s donation of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) will aid the national flood relief efforts being coordinated by the Civil Defense Commission (CDC).
